Wax Care Guide:
Proper aftercare is essential to soothing the skin, preventing irritation, and maintaining smooth, long-lasting results. Please follow the guidelines below based on the area treated.
Facial Waxing Aftercare:
(Includes brows, upper lip, chin, cheeks, etc.)
First 24–48 Hours:
Avoid touching or applying makeup to the freshly waxed area.
Stay away from sun exposure, tanning beds, and heat (steam, saunas, hot showers).
Do not exfoliate, use retinol, AHA/BHA, or active skincare ingredients.
Refrain from sweating or heavy workouts.
If redness or irritation occurs, apply aloe vera gel or a cool compress.
Ongoing Care:
Use a gentle, non-comedogenic cleanser.
Always apply SPF to prevent hyperpigmentation.
Avoid harsh facial treatments (peels, microdermabrasion, etc.) for 5–7 days.
Body Waxing After Care:
(Includes arms, legs, underarms, bikini, back, chest, etc.)
First 24–48 Hours:
Avoid heat exposure: no hot baths, showers, saunas, or tanning.
Wear loose, breathable clothing to avoid friction and irritation.
Skip workouts, swimming, and sweating.
Do not apply lotions, oils, or perfumes to waxed areas.
Refrain from scratching or touching the area unnecessarily.
Ongoing Care:
After 48 hours, gently exfoliate 2–3 times a week to prevent ingrown hairs.
Keep skin moisturized with a fragrance-free, non-comedogenic lotion.
Avoid sun exposure or tanning for at least 72 hours post-wax.
Results typically last 3–4 weeks, depending on hair growth cycle.
Note: Redness or slight sensitivity is normal and usually subsides within a few hours. If irritation persists or you have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.
